Mercedes-Benz Canada is excited to announce that the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S and the Mercedes-AMG GT S have clinched Best New awards in the Prestige/Performance and the Sports/Performance over $50K classifications at the AJAC 2016 Canadian Car of the Year Awards. The Mercedes-AMG GT S and the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S advance to the final leg of the competition for the overall Canadian Car of the Year award. The winners of the awards will be announced at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, Ontario in February of 2016.
The rigorous AJAC testing program involves real-world driving on public roadways, in so that the test data and voting results are directly relevant to shoppers. 71 automotive journalists each drove vehicles in their categories back-to-back on the same day, under the same conditions, in order to promote fair and objective comparisons. The category winners represent the voting results by the largest group of Canada’s best-known and highly regarded automotive journalists.
