Mercedes-Benz Canada recently announced outstanding sales numbers for January 2016, retailing a grand total of 2,923 Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter, and Smart units. This marks a 17.2% increase (428 vehicles) from January 2015’s total sales.
Leading the way in growth were Mercedes-Benz SUV models. The GL was up an astounding 116%, the G-Class was up 100%, while the GLE came in up 67% compared to the same month last year. 4MATIC all-wheel-drive Mercedes-Benz vehicles comprised 96% of total passenger vehicle and light truck sales, excluding smart models.
World-renowned Mercedes-Benz Vans were also up 24% in January 2016, selling a total of 274 vans in Canada. Certified Pre-Owned Mercedes-Benz vehicle sales were up 4% with 906 units sold, making up 74.7% of January’s total vehicle sales.
