Today I want to show you something special that I got. We have a 1980 Mercedes-Benz Unimog 406 and there it is. Put a little bit of work into this, did a nice paint job on it. I got this from Rocky Mountain House. It used to be the snow blower at the Rock Mountain House International Airport. It is a beast for sure. Push button start, get this going.
This truck is all original on the inside. Obviously I painted the outside. This the 20-speed cascade gear box, 4-wheel drive and frontier PTO. You can power any implements you want on the front. You can make it a backhoe. You can make it a snow blower, make it a front end loader. We also have hydraulics on the front and the back so that you can power lots of implements.
I have a snow blade for it that we use and I have a spare engine for it as well. In this truck, we manually do everything. Obviously, we’re going to throw it into four wheel drive with the differentials locked, and we are going to engage the cascade gear box, stick this into the super crawler. With it being slippery that is about as high as I can get in here. If I had chains on this thing, we could drive right through the fence and take it into Finning next door.
